You must have at least 20 dives logged, and be 18 years old.

The course can be done in a minimum of 3 weeks with dives in the morning and theory in the afternoon.

During the dive training you will learn how to assist students (open water and advanced and/or rescue) and certified divers under the supervision of an instructor, how to guide the certified divers.

You will have to perform the 20 skills of the open water course after some practice, of course!! And do again a rescue final scenario.

You will also have to do a map from a dive site and an emergency plan.

Some stamina skills must also be performed such as 15 minutes floating, 400 meters swimming, 800 meters snorkeling, 100 meters tired diver tow.

You need to have at least 60 logged dives to send your Divemaster application to Padi. You will dive until you'll get them of course, maybe more.

The price of the PADI Divemaster course is 950 usd ,including the equipment; you will have to buy the books and materials prior to coming, our dive shop can provide them to you.

Here is the list :

-PADI Dive Master book
-PADI Dive Master workbook
-Encyclopaedia of the Recreational Diving
-PADI Recreational Dive Planner (table and wheel)

About the diving equipment, it's good to have your own equipment (at least fins, mask and snorkel) but we can lend you anything you need from the dive shop.

Please if you choose to enroll this course, remember that you must be in good physical conditions because you might dive almost everyday 2 or 3 times, bring a medical statement for diving ability from your doctor, and be able to show proof of your diving experience and all your certification cards from the first level.

You can start whenever you want, and I think this whole schedule could be done in a minimum of a month and a half.

It's sometimes hard to work the theory here....dives in the morning, siesta time, and you will need to rest too.

So it's good to take your time.
